Japan’s original ukiyo-e artists influenced many peoples every day life from taste to fashion in 18th and 19th century Japan. Anything that the artists deemed worthy to include in their paintings would soon become trendy among the people of Japan. Through each artists unique woodblock print designs, they would not only leave their lasting mark on Japan, but also greatly influence the development of early European art.
